event design

I love events and my favorite part - the area where I really nerd out - is the planning and design. From the decor to the food, I love it all. The type A creative in me thrives on getting everything organized and making sure that it’s easy come event day. Have an event (or wedding) coming up that you need help with, but you’re not sure where to start? Have some ideas but need focus, a list of do-tos and confidence that you are not missing something? I’m here to help and you get to take all the credit.

Event design is different than event planning. It can be done remotely (similar to e-design) and is a plan for the aesthetics, food, special touches, etc. I do not handle day of coordination or organizing vendors like a traditional even planner does. I do work hand in hand with event planners and am happy to coordinate and work with them on the aesthetics and design end of your event.

Here’s how it works:

  • We’ll chat about your event, gather details and goals. Maybe you have a theme or color palette in mind, we’ll work with all your info to put together a concept board showing how your event will look and feel and then with your approval we’ll move on to putting all the details together! 

  • Next I’ll work on bringing it all together for you, working on a specialized plan, projects, timeline and shopping list (complete with sources!) This makes it easy for you run with your list and check it twice. 

  • We’ll stay in contact during your prep process, making sure no questions come up and tweaking anything that needs to be adjusted along the way, making sure it all comes together seamlessly!
